Today we begin a new chapter of our blogy life: Real weddings! We are thrilled to start off with a traditional Catholic union in Birmingham, Alabama whose most predominant decor was not an actual decoration at all... it was 'love'!
The biggest piece of advice we give our clients when picking out their chocolate favors is "be yourself"! With all the options out there, planning a wedding can easily become a grandios spectacle in which any semblance of the couple's personality is lost. This is certainly not the case in Sarah & Jay's nuptials. Nothing that the gorgeous bride and groom planned for their wedding (even their dreamy green & white earthy details) could overshadow the overwhelming theme of 'love'.
The love-fest is most apparent in the integral part that Jay's two young sons, Bo & Nick, play in the days events. With Jay coming into the relationship with two little ones, their wedding wasn't just a union between the two of them... this was a union x4! The couple made sure to include little Bo & Nick throughout all the day's events, in which ring bearing & cake testing are clearly their favorites.
With their seamless traditional vintage - meets - nature theme (and the undeniable atmosphere of 'true love'), the photos by J'adore la Photographie make Jay & Sarah's wedding one for the books.
