I think it's safe to say that most women love getting glam'd up and gorgeous. Besides our wedding days, an engagement shoot is the rare time in mortals' lives when we get to be movie stars and strike a pose. For my own engagement shoot, I reveled in putting on my finest duds and playing 'model' with my now hubby...and if I do say so myself, the results were amazing. (So in yo' face, Miranda Kerr! Sorry, it had to be said since that's probably the last time in my life I will ever utter those words!).
So, it takes a brave soul to do the opposite... like attacking your intended with paint! That's exactly what Sam & Eric did for their engagement photos in Illinois. These two decided to duke it out with their inspiration coming from an unlikely place: the paint ball scene in what was one of my favorite films as a teenager, "10 Things I Hate About You" (Heath Ledger, *sigh* and yes if you were born after 1983, I apologize for the 'ancient' social reference). As you will see below, the images caught by Lauren Vitiello of DWJ Studio are the stuff of legend!
With love in their hearts and paint in their hands, I present to you Sam & Eric's colorful engagement shoot...

We would like to officially dub Sam & Eric and DWJ Studio, "Frosted", and induct them into the "Royal Court of Petticoat" ...where all wedding rock stars reign! Now, go wash off your awesome selves!
Special thanks to DWJ Studio and Two Bright Lights!
*UPDATE*
We've been getting tons of emails asking about the type of powder Sam & Eric used... it's called Holi and is traditionally used in Indian Color Festivals. Here's a good link if you want to buy it for yourself. Cheers!
