We're cutting straight to the chase today with a wedding who's character is as grandios as its players. So gather around, Petticoat Nation, because we have a lot to talk about! The sky was the limit for the nuptials of Sarah and Graham. Creative souls and all around hipsters, this fabulous couple relished in the fact that for their wedding there were no guidelines. Personality and DIY was the name of the game, so let's break this shindig down!
The Location: Alberta, Canada in the cool fall breeze where they could capture their favorite locations- a vintage LP store, fastfood joint, and retro candy shop.
The Veil: Believe it or not, Sarah made it herself!
The Bridal Bouquet: Was not a bouquet at all! Sarah carried a small ivory Bible down the aisle, the same one her mother carried on her wedding day.
The Guestbook: A vintage typewriter in which guests were asked to type the happy couple a note.
The Table Decor: Since Graham had used "Uno" game cards while proposing to Sarah, the couple decided to make them an integral part of their reception.
The Cake Topper: A handmade gift from a good friend.
The Reception: A fuss-free charity location to serve a duel purpose: raise money for the non-profit sex abuse advocacy agency and to party hard! Fun fact: Sarah & Graham asked that a donation be made every time the couple was prompted to kiss during the reception, raising $175.
The Photographer: The talented artist Cassie Molyneux of Cassie's Camera.
Is your heart pounding with offbeat anticipation?! I know, mine is too! With elation, I present to you the kick-ass wedding of Sarah and Graham...
