Classic traditions, Modern love.

When it comes to weddings, there are no rules anymore.  Couples are getting married in their own way, continually breaking the "norm" and creating new traditions.  It's an exciting time in the wedding world and I'm loving every second of it... especially when I receive a wedding like today's submission!

Nelson & Michelle are a New York City couple in love with art, music, and each other.  For their Manhattan wedding, they wanted to honor their past while celebrating their future.  So, the couple broke their nuptials into a 2-day celebration:  one day to respect their Korean heritage and the other to commemorate their love.

So, the couple first had a traditional Korean Tea Ceremony.  This sweet ritual is performed before the couple's official nuptials.  They serve tea to each other's parents as a sign of respect.  On the second day of their wedding extravaganza, the couple's love of the arts was on display with their simple green, white, & grey theme.  As dreamily captured by Emi Liang of 1314 Studio, be witness to Nelson & Michelle's classic traditions and modern love...

Please post your sugary-sweet comments here. As Mama Petticoat taught us, "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all"... so all negative, mean, or irrelevant remarks will be deleted. Merci, beaucoup!
