This weeks Frosted Find really is frosted! Los Angeles-based Shakar Bakery specializes in delicious designer cakes, cupcakes, and cookies. Appropriately named, "shakar" literally means "sugar" in Armenian. This sweet company is the brainchild of the amazingly talented Shantal DerBoghosian, a self-taught cake genius with a flair for the spectacular.
Not only are these little pieces of art absolutely gorgeous, I can personally vouch for their yumminess. How do I know how good these desserts are, you ask? Okay, confession time: Shantal is a good family friend & wonderfully brings a little something-something to every gathering. Needless to say, I have found myself hovering around many a dessert table sneaking her delicious goodies. She even made my sister-in-law's heavenly bridal shower cake, which was a huge hit and tasted divine!
