Salutation of Love

As we celebrate our country's independence this week, I cannot help but think of the amazing military families that sacrifice so much for our freedom.  Through good times and bad, they must balance their love for one another with their unwavering love for our fantastic country.  Both my father and my husband found freedom from their respective repressive homelands within the bounds of the United States... and if you ask either of them, they would both say that holding the flag as they received their citizenships was one of the best moments of their lives.  These military families' love for this country made my own family's freedom possible and for that I will always look upon them with pride and tremendous gratitude.

With that said I'd like to highlight a couple who's sacrifice is immense, but who's love is immeasurable. Matt only had 10 days between the end of his deployment and the beginning of another 3 year term.  Although it was a measly few days, those days were going to be grand because he was going to marry his longtime love, Willow.  Regardless of all the adversity placed before them, this couple's engagement shoot has one pervasive theme... true love!

Thank you to all of our military and their families for your loving service!

Please post your sugary-sweet comments here. As Mama Petticoat taught us, "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all"... so all negative, mean, or irrelevant remarks will be deleted. Merci, beaucoup!
