Composing an appropriate introduction to a real wedding is a delicate task - it needs to be interesting, do the photos justice, and honor the newlyweds. Usually, this isn't too challenging for me... until today!
So why is today so different? Because this real wedding took place in St. Peter's Basilica in Vatican City!!! Yes, that's THE Vatican City. And to top it off, the couple took their formal photos all around Rome. Um, yeah. How in the world can I write a proper introduction to that?! And whether you're religious or not, you must admit that the significance of getting married in such a historical city is pretty cool! I feel like I'm meeting the Queen of England in my pajamas (got to hike-up my Sponge Bob flannels to curtsy properly). So, I'm simply not going to make eye contact, I'm going to bow down graciously, and introduce one of the most uniquely placed real weddings I've ever seen. Welcome to cutie newlyweds', Patrice & Kevin's Roman nuptials...
