Recently, the hubby and I went on a romantic getaway up to the Martha's Vineyard area and had randomly booked a room at the inn. The moment we arrived, I fell in love! From the luxurious 2 acres of gorgeous English-style gardens to the rustic barn house sleeping quarters, Woods Hole Passage couldn't have been more swoon-worthy! And with complimentary cruiser bicycles and beach trail maps at the ready, it's hard not to get sucked into a seaside romance.
To top off the inviting atmosphere are the lovely owners, Julie & Martha. Not only were they perfectly pleasant hostesses and filled with local excursion ideas, they are fabulous chefs. Delivering on the "breakfast" end of the inn's deal, the B&B serves up a complimentary sit down breakfast every morning. How good was it, you ask? Let's just say, I'm still dreaming of the almond baguette french toast! As an extra bonus, Julie & Martha are committed to running a green inn and have made the site as eco-friendly as possible (enjoying membership in the Green Hotels Association since 2009).
The whole time we were there, I couldn't help but think what a perfect location Woods Hole Passage would be for an East Coast honeymoon or intimate elopement.
