When I was 20, I packed my bags and set off to England for a semester of romance and adventure. I was positive that my months abroad would yield a passionate and timeless love affair with one of the country's handsome lads. Despite falling madly in love with the United Kingdom, to my dismay no British sparks flew. I arrived home with a heart filled with memories, yet lacking in romance. But don't despair over my youthful love life! The trip had an unexpected consequence: my best male friend back home missed me so much, that he decided he couldn't let me go again. When I arrived back in the U.S., he told me as much. Long (and terribly romantic) story short, now all my travels are amorous adventures... with my best friend (and husband) by my side!
So what's the point of my little walk down memory lane, you ask? Every American girl has the "study abroad & fall in love" fantasy. Admit it! In early adulthood, you imagined bringing an accented mystery man home to meet your parents. Well girls, I have some good news... it does actually happen to some of us! Daughter of an Alabama cattle rancher, Ginger sought her own romantic adventure during college and traveled all the way to Melbourne, Australia to get it. It was there that she met and fell in love with Timmy. Seven years (and thousands of miles) later, these two cuties are getting hitched! Returning to her roots, welcome to Ginger & Timmy's cattle ranching engagement shoot...
