Salmon & Chiffon

There's a fabulous new trend hitting the wedding market this year... colored bridal gowns!  If you are an adventurous bride, then you're going to have your veritable pick of dress colors in 2013.  Although this might seem like a radical idea to most, it's interesting to note that the "White Wedding Dress" has only been popular the last 150 years (immortalized by the iconic fashionista of the 19th Century, Queen Victoria herself).  Before then, blues and reds were the most popular bridal hues and in many international cultures, those are still the reigning colors.  So if you think about it, this trend isn't ultra modern, it's actually a vintage throwback!

With that's said, let's celebrate this risk-taking bride on her gorgeous fall wedding day.  Megan clearly wanted to stand out on her wedding day as a regal bride amongst the masses.  With her stunning salmon-colored dress and strikingly dark looks, this is one gal who knows how to secure her place in nuptial history!
