Freixenet mini champagne bottle favors 1

Bridesmaids are a huge and often undervalued part of a wedding day.  They not only serve as a form of living wedding decor (literally), they are many times the errand-women of the event.  It’s always nice to see when these dedicated ladies are given the appreciation they deserve.  So, you can imagine my elation when Freixenet hired me to create today’s sponsored post.  The sparkling wine company challenged me to come up with some unique DIY ideas that any bride could do to honor their bridesmaids.  With their belief that all love sparkles on a wedding day, I knew it was going to be a fun task!

But before we get to the wonderfully boozy tutorials, let’s get to know Freixenet (pronounced “Fresh-eh-net”) a bit better.  The world’s largest producer of Spanish Cava, this family-owned company has 100 years of experience under its belt.  Continuing on their old traditions, the Spanish grapes are still grown in vineyards outside of Barcelona and continue to be harvested by hand.  This dedication to quality and craftsmanship is clear with every sip.  Recently Freixenet’s launched the campaign #alllovesparkles, giving brides a treasure trove of cava ideas featured in their fantastic “Weddings” Pinterest board.  In particular, today we’re going to be focusing on Freixenet’s Cordon Negro Brut mini bottles and their Cordon Negro Brut Memory Magnum.  This is where I come in!

To utilize these yummy products, I put together two easy peasy tutorials to honor your bridesmaids.  So pop a bottle of cava, grab a notepad, and let’s get down to DIY business…

“Will You Be My Bridesmaid?” Gift Box

Will you be my Bridesmaid Freixenet champagne gift box tutorial DIY 10

Everything you need to recreate this gift:

  • Freixenet’s Cordon Negro Brut mini bottles
  • “Will You Be My Bridesmaid?” free printable card from Something Pretty
  • Keepsake jewelry box
  • Candle
  • Lipstick
  • Nail polish
  • Mini mason jar
  • Jelly beans
  • Ribbon
  • Shredded crate paper

There’s two huge questions that make a wedding possible.  The first is pretty obvious… “Will you marry me?”.  The second, is not quite as important, but pretty awesome nonetheless… “Will you be my bridesmaid?”.  So, ask your ladies with style and grace using this adorable gift box.  First I found a keepsake jewelry box and filled it with shredded black crate paper.  Then I added one of Freixenet’s adorable Cordon Negro Brut mini bottles, tied off with a cute black and white stripped ribbon.  As an extra special detail, the bottle’s black surface is a perfect writing canvas.  Use a gold pen to write your bridesmaid’s name or a sweet message on the bottle.  I printed out the adorable free printable card from Something Pretty, wrote a personalized message, and taped it to the inside lid.  I next added a yummy smelling candle and a mini mason jar filled with coconut jelly beans.  Lastly, I added a decadent nail polish and lipstick to the mix.  Insider tip: this is a great way to gift them the nail polish and lipstick color you want them to wear on your big day.  A few easy (and delicious) steps and you’re ready to ask the all-important question…

Bridal Suite Cava Table

Everything you need to recreate this table:

  • Freixenet’s Cordon Negro Brut Memory Magnum
  • “Bridesmaid” free printable tag from Elli
  • Sparkling wine glasses
  • Cookies
  • Donut holes
  • Yogurt-covered raisins
  • Jute & Bakers Twine

You’ve made it to the big day and although it might be all about the bride, don’t forget the ones who made the day extra special.  So, spoil your girls with a decadent bridal suite sparkling wine table.  Your bridesmaids will be coming in and out of the room throughout the morning and might not have a lot of time for much else.  So make sure they relax a bit with a glass of cava and a mouthful of sweets.  Plus, this table couldn’t be easier to put together.  All you need is a bottle of Freixenet’s Cordon Negro Brut Memory Magnum, sparkling wine glasses, and some delectable treats.  I added an extra special touch by printing out the delightful “Bridesmaid” free printable tag by Elli, strung it with jute and bakers twine, and hung it around the neck of the cava bottle.  And voila, you’re done!

The moral of today’s post?  Treat your bridesmaids with the care these important ladies deserve.  And a great way to do that is with Freixenet’s luxurious selection of sparkling wine and their wedding motto #alllovesparkles.  So, pop a bottle and make sure to cheers your loved ones!
