‘Just Because Day’ with Chambord

August 27, 2017
chambord, cocktail, recipe, margarita

Did you know that today, August 27th, is “Just Because Day”? It is a day to embrace the little pleasures in life, for no reason at all. Eat dessert before dinner; sing loudly into a hairbrush to Queen; binge watch Outlander while eating a pint of ice cream. Personally, this sounds awfully like everyday to me, but hey I’ll take this opportunity to celebrate regardless. One of the best ways to observe the holiday is with a decadent cocktail. Lucky for us, my friends at Chambord have sent me some fun cocktails to share with you.

There’s no better day to drink what 17th century French royalty drank than on “Just Because Day”. Based on my over-the-top taste, I assume that I was French royalty in a past life, so it all seems terribly relevant. Chambord combines the finest au natural ingredients including raspberries, blackberries, Madagascar vanilla, Moroccan citrus peel, honey, and XO cognac. So, with no reason at all, let’s get to mixing…
