Ultimate Holiday Cooking Tool: The Hestan Cue

September 28, 2017

About once a week, I become overly ambitious in the kitchen. I pick a ridiculously difficult recipe from some Michelin-Star chef’s cookbook, purchase all the ingredients, and then proceed to slaughter the dish, usually burning it into crispy oblivion. And I cook for a living! Why can’t I produce even a semi-edible version of these difficult recipes?! What am I doing wrong?! Well, Hestan Cue has the answer.

Hestan Cue is the future of home cooking. It is a three-part system that walks you through and even regulates each step of the recipe process. I know! At this point you’re probably thinking, “what is this witchcraft you speak of?” Well, let me break it down for you. The smart cooking system is made up of an induction burner, smart pan, and recipe app, which all use Bluetooth technology to communicate with one another. Remarkable, right?! You start off with the amazing app that allows you to choose from a huge array of world-class recipes. Then it synchs with the burner and pan to automatically adjust cook time, temperatures, and then walks you through the step-by-step process of creating the dish. And with each step accompanied by a video of a renowned chef illustrating the directions, it takes all the guess work out of the culinary adventure. It’s like a private cooking class in your own kitchen! And with a variety of recipes, Hestan Cue allows all skill levels to learn tips, tricks, and techniques from professionals with decades of experience.

The recipes available in the app are the stuff of foodie dreams! Tested, tuned, and illustrated by Michelin-star chefs, you’ll be able to perfect everything from Grilled Cheese to Pan Seared Sole with Dill and Caviar Emulsion. And with the synchronization of the smart cooking technology, you no longer have to worry about burning your creation to a crisp. So with the holidays upon us, I decided to try my hand at an Autumn favorite that I have never been able to get just right: Apple Cobbler Filling. Normally I serve up overcooked, dried up apples in an overwhelming abundance of cinnamon. It’s usually some degree of inedible. But this time, with the help of the Hestan Cue, the sweet Fall treat was ridiculously easy to perfect.

The Apple Cobbler Filling was so easy to make and tasted like a little slice of Autumn heaven. The whole house smelled of Fall goodness and the dessert was promptly scarfed down by the foodie savages that always lurk around my kitchen (a.k.a. my husband and daughter). I now have a renewed sense of culinary adventure and plan to try my hand at some of the more advanced recipes the app has to offer. Special thanks to Hestan Cue for partnering up with me on this fabulous post! Make sure to visit their website and use our exclusive code “CUEPETTICOAT” to receive $50 off your order! Seriously, add the Hestan Cue to your holiday gift list this year… you and your stomach won’t be disappointed!

  1. I can’t even handle how cute that tiny pumpkin is! I definitely want to make these mini cobblers – now to find some equally cute dishes for them… 🙂

  2. I love induction burner. It makes cooking sugar for a showpiece so much faster (I baked professionally for 7 yrs). The Hestan Cue app looks like a great system. It’ll make you cook like a professional chef at home. Nice finding.
